Mount Seskin Community College is proud to offer hot school lunches, in partnership with Glanmore Foods & the Dept of Education.
We are delighted to have been accredited by the Dept Education to offer hot meals and a snack completely free of charge for our students. This year, First Year, our Shaw Class and all students taking part in Lunch Clubs will enjoy a range of hot food provided by our caterers, Glanmore Foods.
Why offer hot lunch?
Vast international research indicates that nutritious lunch increases learning, reduces risk of obesity and poor health. Additionally, having a hot lunch and social time at school with friends makes afternoon attendance and punctuality very easy - and high attendance is the biggest predictor of success in education. We want our students to have the best of lunch so they can make the best of school.
