Today our Leaving Certificate Higher Level English Students participated in the UCD Shakespeare Day.

Transport, Lunch and King Lear lectures were all provided free of charge by UCD.

Students participated in highly engaging and interesting presentations by Professor Naomi McAreavey, Dr Anna Graham and Dr Jason O Toole.

Our students engaged with Themes, Characters and Language in a dynamic and interactive way which really enhanced their understanding. They also got the opportunity to see and read some very special collections of 17th and 18th Century editions of King Lear.

Students also had the opportunity to share their perspectives on King Lear with other schools during their group work. A very interesting and enjoyable day was had by all.
