Congratulations to Dr Anita Doody, who recently graduated from a four year doctorate.

Anita's study and doctorate focussed on secondary school life here in Jobstown. 'In the eye of the storm' looks at how integral community school provision is in supporting local families. Over the course of four years, Anita interviewed and gathered feedback from colleagues here at MSCC, students, our parents and our wider community - all culminating in publishing her thesis this year.

Anita is now taking part in a working group looking at the national DEIS provision and support, and was delighted to be introduced to Minister for Education and Youth Helen McEntee last week at Leinster House as part of this work. She is taking part in this work alongside her role as HSCL and Year Head at MSCC.
