Today saw our first game for our new girls' football team. Congratulations to all involved!
Today they took on our new first year boys team who played very well and defeated the girls by 3 goals to one. A great day was held by all and some great soccer skills were seen on both sides.
Thanks to Mr Wilhare and Mr Walsh on the training and development of the new first year team and Mr Byrne, Ms Byrne and Mr Deasy (who missed the photo as he was on detention) for setting up out new ladies team.
Thanks also to Maria and Donal for sourcing our new jerseys for the ladies team. Today was the jerseys first outing and they looked fabulous.
There is still plenty of rom for anyone to join either team. Training is on Wednesday after school at 12:15.
