Eleven lucky Second Years have been enjoying a terrific trip to Cambrils in Spain this week, as part of the Erasmus European programme.
The groups' final day in Spain was filled with celebration and reflection. Our students received their Erasmus certificates in a memorable ceremony, complete with live music and heartfelt speeches, marking the end of an incredible journey of learning and cultural exchange.
Afterwards, students got to work on their presentations, capturing all they had learned and experienced throughout the week.
In the afternoon, we headed to the beach. Students played a game of volleyball followed by a spirited match of football, bringing everyone together for one last time before heading home.
It was a perfect way to conclude an unforgettable trip, filled with memories that our students will carry with them long after they leave Spain.
We are delighted to be part of this incredible Erasmus programme and look forward to more cultural exchanges later this year, welcoming students and teachers to Ireland.
Enormous thanks to Mr Penon, Mr Heffernan and Ms Byrne for planning the trip, facilitating all activities and looking after students so well this week.
