Our Sixth Year students lucky enough to be part of the ‘ACE’ Access to College Education programme took off to Cavan yesterday for team building, challenge and reflection at Cavan Adventure Centre.
The programme includes access to a year of additional timetabled classes after school across a range of subjects, wider support like this adventure trip and expert advice to prepare for college of course a monthly payment of 50€ to recognise study effort!
Students faced their fears with high flying activities, challenges that required team collaboration and time to consider how they can get the best out of this year for their future.
Ms Edwards, our new ACE Coordinator said: ‘Students had a brilliant time at the Adventure centre - they were excellent and great representatives of our school’.
Well done to all – we look forward to seeing what you can do this year!
